A data transmission system, a base station, a terminal and a data transmission method thereof for automatically determining transmission speed are provided to reflect the input speed of data transmitted from a base station communication speed for setting up clock speed as minimum data reception speed. A base station(300) stores data delivered from center network(100). A transmission mode transmitting the stored data is determined. A terminal(400) transmits the feedback information to the base station and receives data from the base station. The base station determines the communications speed transmitting data with the terminal in consideration of the input rate of data delivered from the center network.
