PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing the generation of a groove crack with a boundary face of a cap tread rubber layer as a starting point when at least two kinds of cap tread rubber layers are provided. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire in which at least two kinds of cap tread rubber layers 1A, 1B having different rubber compositions are arranged in different areas in the tire width direction of a tread 1, a boundary face of the cap tread rubber layers 1A, 1B is formed on the tread 1 below a main groove 11 extending in the tire circumferential direction, and a reinforced rubber layer 12 with fracture strength being≥15 MPa and fracture elongation being≥550% is interposed in the boundary face between at least the cap tread rubber layers 1A, 1B.
