PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror frame and a lens unit, reducing distortion due to curing shrinkage of an adhesive, fixing a lens which is kept with high precision, and enhancing manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: This lens unit includes: the mirror frame 20 having a cylindrical shape and provided with a wide diametric part 21 having an upper end opening part for inserting the lens 40; an edge receiving part 25 projecting inwards from an inner circumferential face of the wide diametric part 21 of the mirror frame 20, and positioning the lens 40 inserted from the upper end opening part of the wide diametric part 21 along a direction orthogonal to an optical axis R, at about middle position in a thickness direction of an edge face 41 in the lens 40; and an optical axis direction receiving part 27 for positioning the lens 40 inserted from the upper end opening part of the wide diametric part 21 and positioned along the direction orthogonal to the optical axis R by the edge receiving part 25, along the optical axis R direction.
