A system and a method for testing a mobile phone are provided to be connected to a main board stably for the test of a mobile phone and to save the production time necessary for the control and inspection of the mobile phone. A test interface unit(235) transfers an output signal of a mobile terminal to a performance test device(220), and a location driving unit(240) is placed in the circumference of the test interface unit. According to the location information outputted from the performance test device, the location driving unit is adjusted in vertical and horizontal directions so that a test jig device(230) may be placed in a connection pattern formed on a main board(260). A test connection unit(250) tests the electric performance and the operation of the mobile terminal.
