A spectacle lens processing device is provided to make the cutting depth of lens uniform by adjusting the distance between a lens chuck axis and a grindstone spindle. A spectacle lens processing device comprises: a lens rotation unit rotating a lens chuck axis holding a spectacle lens with a motor(120); a grindstone rotating unit having the motor to rotate a grindstone spindle; a distance adjusting unit adjusting distance between the axis of the grindstone spindle and lens chuck axis with the motor driving; a torque detection unit having a sensor for detecting the torque applied in the lens chuck axis; a mode selection unit generally converting and selecting a processing mode and soft processing mode; and a process control unit controlling the grinding process of the lens with the grindstone(166). The grindstone is mounted on the grindstone spindle. The grindstone of the grindstone spindle performs the grinding process of the lens edge.
