A mobile terminal having a movable auxiliary keypad is provided to supply a lot of keys and hide keys which are not frequently used, thereby making an appearance beautiful. The second main body(120) is slid to the first main body(110). If the second main body is farther from the first main body, an auxiliary keypad(140) is drawn from the first main body. If the second main body is combined with the first main body, the auxiliary keypad is inserted into the first main body. A moving unit connects the second main body to the auxiliary keypad to move the auxiliary keypad along with movement of the second main body in a set direction.
