FIELD: physics; measurement. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method and device for logging while drilling (LWD) and an acoustic transmitting source. The multipolar transmitting source allows for determining speed of rocks, including shear wave velocity through a liquid layer. The method and device allow for carrying out detailed LWD and cable seismic survey, in which both seismic or acoustic sources and the receiver are located in the drilled well, but can be used for VSP as well (vertical seismic profiling, multipolar measurement using a concentrated force type of a source and profiling with receivers). ^ EFFECT: provision for carrying out detailed LWD and cable seismic survey. ^ 51 cl, 4 dwg |
