A macrolide-analogue with neuro-stimulatory and/or neuroprotective activity for use in partially or completely enhancing restoration of corneal sensation in the eye of a patient following laser assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK). The administration is non-systemic, localised ocular administration.
