A luggage box device for an automobile is provided to simplify the assembling process because open maintenance function of a luggage cover and function for locking a luggage cover is combined. A luggage box device for an automobile comprises a luggage box(110) which is formed in a vehicle, and a luggage cover(120) which opens and closes the luggage box. Between the luggage box and the luggage cover, a locking-cum-opening maintaining unit(130) for the luggage cover is installed. The locking-cum-opening maintaining unit comprises a multi-stage holder(131) and a holder(132) which is in accord with the movement route of the multi-stage holder. The multi-stage holder includes an extension plate(131a) which is extended toward the luggage box, and a stopping protrusion(131b) which protrudes from the extension plate. |
