The system consists of a casing, a layer with a multiple set of supporting elements and active layer of catalyst particles supported by the previous layer. The supporting layer is active with regard to one or several fluids. The supporting layer contains supporting element layers 1 and 2. The elements in the second layer are smaller than they are in the first layer. Each element of the supporting layer includes at least one inner cross-piece and a multiple set of open-end channels.
