A retractor of brake shoes of railroad car, which contains suspensions, bearing brake block holders fastened on brake beams, which consist of beams with spacers hingedly connected with middle openings of vertical levers, which lower openings are connected through a tie hingedly fastened to them. For provision of guaranteed retraction of brake shoes from the rolling surface of wheel in the released state the brackets of brake beam together with pendulum suspensions of brake beam and two hingedly connected levers create a scalene four-link assembly, which one hinge has assigned moment of resistance of turning, which is greater than the moment created by unbalanced mass of brake rigging of bogie, but less than the moment created during pressing of brake shoe against the wheel during regular braking. |
