<p>The installation has a flexible connection associated to a voltage or current sensor (1), and presenting a transmission function transmitting voltage or current information, where the connection is constituted by twisted optical fibers (8, 9). A protective sheath (7) covers the connection and the sensor and is made of an insulating material, where the sensor is constituted by a magneto-optic crystal (2). The crystal modulates coherent light transported by the fiber (8) from a laser diode, and is connected to the fiber (9) guiding the light to a demodulation system (10).</p> |
