The container has a rigid external cover (3) with parts made of an embossed metal and a tubular body closed at ends by stackable circular cross edges, where one edge (32) has a passing and maintaining unit (4). The unit has an annular collar (41) encased in a circular opening permitting passage of a spout (2) of a flexible bag (1) to use the spout. The unit has a closing element with a circular part (42) encased in the collar in a detachable manner. The closing element has a detachable part disengaging a horseshoe shaped opening (44) receiving a base of the spout to maintain the base. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a container.
