<p>The fault current circuit breaker has a sum current converter (18), an electronic estimation unit (12), and a moving contact element (1), which is moved with a force. Another contact element (2) is provided, which is electrically connected with the former contact element. A limiting element is provided to limit a movement of the former moving contact element. A control unit (11) is connected with the sum current converter by a control line (15). Monitoring components are provided for detecting a movement of the other moving contact element. An independent claim is included for a method for implementing a self-test for a fault current circuit breaker.</p> |
