<p>The method involves transforming high resolution image data that describes print image and/or content of a printing plate for color separation into low resolution image data. Position data is obtained from a transporting device for a print substrate (121). Control data for modulation of the intensity of a radiation source (119a) and/or a group of sources of LED arrays are generated from the low resolution image data and the position data. The substrate in the device is smeared with temporally modulated radiation points, which include multiple image points of high resolution print image.</p> |
