FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention deals with techniques of bulk material (mostly - sand and gravel) defrosting, heating and drying and is to find application in multiple industries, being relevant, for example, for concrete products fabrication by coating plants and construction enterprises. The device consists of a feed bin, power-supply circuits and an electrical heater to be placed immediately inside the bulk of the material being heated. The electric heater is composed of multiple heating sections uniformly distributed within the whole of the feed bin volume. Each heating section is composed of a bearing bar, metal rod segments, serially interconnected and arranged in a zigzag pattern, and fixtures containing insulation elements. The metal rod segments are suspended onto the bearing bar with their upper parts with the help of the fixtures. The bearing bar ends are mounted onto the bin opposite walls. the power-supply circuits are connected to the head and tail ends of each heating section. ^ EFFECT: provision for heating uniformity, prevention of material congelation inside the bin at temperatures below 0C, the device structure protection against damage as may be caused by clods, facilitation of clog downward gravity travel. ^ 2 dwg |
