<p>A process for preparing a polymer comprising the step of: polymerizing: (i) an allyloxytrifluoropropene derivative selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the formula: <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>CF3CH-CH(OCH2CR-CH2);<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>CF3CH-C(OCH2CR-CH2)2;<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>CF3CH-CF(OCH2CR-CH2); and<?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> any mixtures thereof; wherein R is selected from the group consisting of: hydrogen and methyl; and optionally (ii) an ethylenically unsaturated comonomer; wherein the copolymerizing step is carried out in the presence of a catalyst, under conditions sufficient to produce the copolymer.</p> |
