#CMT# #/CMT# The roof (5) has a laminar extending, curved roof region (7) and edge sections (9) suppressed downwards, where the edge sections are combined together in a corner of the roof. The edge sections are formed such that a gap (11) is formed in-between the edge sections. An insertion part (13) bridges the gap, and is arranged at the edge sections in an overlapped manner and is connected with the edge sections. The insertion part enters into the roof region from the corner and rests against the roof region. The vehicle roof is designed such that the insert edges and the corners are formed reliably, thus achieving improved binding possibilities such as larger overlapping and avoidance of holes, of the roof to the remaining body regions, and hence improving corrosion resistance of the roof.
