#CMT# #/CMT# The reflector has a round blank made of aluminum sheet that is anodized on reflecting side. Star-shaped strip-like fingers (2) protrude downward from a center section (1) of the round blank, where the fingers are bent to a reflector form. Longitudinal edges of the fingers are arranged in an overlapping manner. Adjacent fingers are connected with each other by fasteners (3) e.g. screw fasteners, plug fasteners, and locking fasteners, that are riveted or welded, where the fasteners and the connection are provided at a center section of a turned away end region of the fingers. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Round reflector for reflecting electromagnetic radiation i.e. light beam, (all claimed) from a lamp for lighting purpose. Uses include but are not limited to filament lamp, halogen bulb, fluorescent lamp, compact fluorescent lamp, metal halogen vapor lamp, sodium-vapor lamp and induction lamp. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The production of the reflector is improved, so that an economical and highly effective round reflector with improved efficiency is designed. The light design of the reflector can be influenced in a simple manner, and overcomes environmental problems when no electro-chemical baths are required.
