A system for controlling an electric power source is provided to increase power efficiency by interrupting power of an outlet according to an off switch of the lighting apparatus. A power control system comprises a power supply unit(100), a lighting apparatus switch(200), a magnetic contactor, and circuit breakers(700-900). A power supply unit supplies AC power to the light apparatus and a first outlet through a pair of power lines, and the lighting apparatus switch is electrically connected to the power supply unit. The lighting apparatus switch controls on/ off of the AC power, and the magnetic contactor controls on/off of a first outlet according to on/off of the light apparatus switch. The first circuit breaker is arranged between the first outlet and the power supply unit.
