The powered lift truck has an inclined lift pole (3). The vertical supports (4,5) are provided at the upper end with a guide rail fixed relative to a driver canopy (2) and arranged in vehicle longitudinal direction. The guide rail has a front rail section extending before the vertical support and a rear rail section extending behind the vertical support. The guide rail stays in engagement with the rear area of the driver canopy.
