A wind generator with movable sails is disclosed, comprising a rotating platform (1) which rotates according to a vertical axis forming the supporting structure of a wind turbine (2) formed by several sails (3) which move guided by respective side chains (4) engaging with end pinions (5), the assembly thereof forming a plane that is either vertically or horizontally inclined with respect to the wind, thus providing the forward movement of said chains (4) which move a common shaft (8) on which the electric generator (7) is coupled.
