A method of manufacturing a laser processed part (10) is provided by using a protective sheet (2) for laser processing, the sheet (2) having an extinction coefficient at a wavelength of 532 nm of 20 cm -1 or more, which is capable of effectively suppressing contamination of a surface of a workpiece (1) by a decomposition product, and processing at high precision, when processing the workpiece (1) by optical absorption ablation of a laser beam (7). It is also an object to present a protective sheet (2) for laser processing for use in such a manufacturing method of a laser processed part (10).
