-at least one broadcast system (1), configured to broadcast television programs via a plurality of network channels;
-a television receiver (10), configured to receive television programs that are broadcast via the television program broadcasting network (Nt);
-a data network (Nd);
-a presence server (20), configured to provide the data network (Nd) with television channel presence information associated with the network channels; and
-a presence client (11), configured to receive the presence information, provided by the presence server (20), via the data network (Nd);
wherein the presence client (11) and television receiver (10) are associated with one another such that the television receiver (10) is controllable via the presence client (11).
