FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: rotor-impulse internal combustion engine comprises two pairs of pistons enclosed in shell, which rotate on common shaft from ignition of combustible mixture between pistons. Torque transfer from pistons is realised by two gears, which make it possible to transfer torque in compliance with cycle of pistons. Torque is transferred to drive by means of gearing. Pistons are arranged as V-shaped. Shell is arranged as cylindrical. One of gears is cylindrical. The second gear is composite from two halves of cylindrical gear connected by two racks so that number of teeth of cylindrical and rectilinear part teeth are equal. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency factor and simplified design of engine. ^ 6 dwg |
