PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POLYMERIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL BASED ON POLYTETRAFLUORETHYLENE

摘要

A process for the production of polymeric composite material based on polytetrafluorethylene reinforced by carbon fiber involves mixing of dry components, preshaping in cool state under the pressure followed by agglomeration in closed press mold and press molding. The press molding is carried out with constant pressure due to thermal expansion of composite material under the influence of a sintering temperature in press mould with fixing member which cross section corresponds to highest critical stresses for the fixing member material.
