The adapter (1) has an electrically insulated plate (5) provided with a lower side (6) for arrangement on a contact surface (3) and an upper side (7), where the plate exhibits thickness, which is adapted to maximum overall height of integrated and discrete surface mounted device components (4). A recess (8) is adapted to positions of the components on the surface of an electrical component (2) e.g. amplifier, where the plate partially consists of a ceramic substrate. Electrical contacts (9) are arranged on the upper side and electrically connected with electrical contacts on the lower side. An independent claim is also included for a system for an electrical component, comprising a contact surface.
