The sensor (1) has a conductor loop (6) inserted into a molded part that is made of plastic, where the conductor loop is integrated into the molded part as a three-dimensional structure. The conductor loop and the molded part are designed as a three-dimensional molded interconnect device. The conductor loop is flat spiral in shape, and consists of multiple layers, where the conductor loop is arranged close to a surface of the molded part. The conductor loop is connected to a controller (8) by conductive strips (7). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an inductive sensor.
