A method for sharing a link key and a communication system thereof are provided to efficiently share a link key between a terminal and an authentication center by encoding and transmitting an arbitrary key of a terminal by a public key. A terminal(40) transmits a connection request, and receives a public key. The terminal generates an arbitrary key, and encodes and transmits the arbitrary key by the public key. If the connection request is received from the terminal, an authentication center(20) transmits the public key to the terminal. The authentication center receives the encoded arbitrary key from the terminal, and generates a link key by using the arbitrary key.
