An organic light emitting display and a method of driving the same are provided to set a threshold voltage of a driving transistor by connecting the driving transistor to a diode within a blank time. In an organic light emitting display and a method of driving the same, a plurality of sub pixels are arranged in the display unit(120). Each sub pixel is composed of a first switching transistor, a capacitor, a driving transistor, an organic light-emitting diode, and a second switching transistor. A capacitor receives a data signal and stores it as a data voltage in response to an operation of a first switching transistor. The driving transistor operates in response to the data voltage stored in the capacitor. The organic light-emitting diode emits light by receiving power in response to an operation of the driving transistor. A second switching transistor connects the driving transistor to the diode in response to a control signal.
