<p>A terminal and a Bluetooth communication method thereof are provided to inquire a Bluetooth device and request a remote name by successively setting a PCL from the lowest PCL, thereby reducing power consumption. A Bluetooth module(101) performs Bluetooth communication with a Bluetooth device. A controller(109) inquires a Bluetooth device through a specific PCL(Power Control Level) in a Bluetooth communication mode and requests remote names of the devices. When responses are received from the devices, the controller checks pairing with the device. When pairing with the device is requested, the controller performs pairing with the device through the used PCL. When pairing with the device is not requested, the controller performs re-inquiry through an increased PCL.</p> |
