METHOD FOR DETECTING INTRUSION ON HOME NETWORK

A method for detecting intrusion on a home network is provided to indirectly analogize external intrusion through analysis of an operation state or a control signal of an electronic device etc. A home server(120) on a home network secures a control signal for controlling an electronic device which is in the same network. A transmission destination of the control signal is determined in order to control the electronic device. The control signal is secured as an intrusion signal on the home network in case the transmission destination is not a permitted transmission destination. A transmission number of the control signal is determined against a reference value in case the transmission destination is a permitted transmission destination. The control signal is secured as an intrusion signal on the home network in case the transmission number is more than the reference value. The control signal is secured as an intrusion signal on the home network in case the control signal deviates from a safe operation range of the electronic device. The control signal is secured as an intrusion signal on the home network in case the control signal does not mean an operation control according to a predetermined operation schedule in order to control operations of the electronic device.
