An apparatus and method of audio video system in a car are provided to reproduce various data on an AV system of a car using a memory after storing data stored in an MP3/IPOD/USB. An apparatus and method of audio video system in a car comprises an auxiliary unit connecting an MP3/IPOD/USB(Universal Serial Bus) with an AV system of a car; and a memory(26) storing data stored in the MP3/IPOD/USB and supplying it. The auxiliary unit consists of an iPod interface AUX port(28) connecting an MP3/IPOD device with an AV system of a car; and a USB host port(30) connecting a USB device.
