ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK AND METHOD OF CONTROL

An electronic door lock and a control method thereof are provided to unlock a dual locking device by only a user and to use the dual locking device in case the user goes out of doors. An electronic door lock includes a handle and a cam which is communicated by rotation of the handle. A fixing member is formed in the cam. The fixing member is protruded in one side of the cam. A handle locking unit(200) is installed in the cam. The handle locking unit is driven in order to limit rotation of the handle based on a driving signal. The handle locking unit includes a motor and a rotation jaw. The motor is operated based on the driving signal. One side of the rotation jaw is connected to an axis of the motor.
