A flower petal dyeing composition and a dying method are provided to show various color-dyed flowers and plants to be seen even at night by spraying the flower petal dyeing composition containing lipid-soluble dye and pigments. A method for dying flowers with a flower petal dyeing composition comprises the following steps of: mixing raw materials for the flower petal dyeing composition and preparing a dye liquid(S20); spraying the dye liquid to a flower petal with 50kg/cm^2 of air pressure(S30); and drying the dye-sprayed flower petal(S40). The dye liquid contains 5-20g of lipid-soluble dye, 10-110g of functional pigment and 1-2 liters of a soluble material selected among alcohol and acetone. The dye liquid additionally contains one or more additives selected among 10-20 parts of vinyl acetate resin solution, enamel and urethane resin additive on a basis of 100 parts of dye liquid by weight. The functional pigment includes one or more materials selected among ChromaLusion color pigment, Basecoat pigment, thermochromic pigment and photochromic pigment.
