A plasma display apparatus is provided to prevent the short phenomenon of the adjacent electrode by separating a coverlay film of the FPC(flexible printed circuit) from the end of the electrodes of the panel. The plasma display apparatus comprises a plasma display panel and a FPC. The FPC comprises a plurality of FPC electrodes(204) and the cover lay film(208). A plurality of FPC electrodes is formed on the base film(202). A plurality of FPC electrodes is thermal-compressed in the electrodes of the plasma display panel. The cover lay film is separated from the end of the plasma display panel electrode and is laminated on a plurality of FPC electrodes and base film.
