A device and a method for changing color of 3D(Dimensional) image are provided to change the color of the 3D image under consideration of external brightness information related to the 3D image even if the 3D image displayed in the image display device is not seen. An image receiver(210) receives a 3D image and external brightness information related to the 3D image. A saturation changer(220) changes saturation of the 3D image by considering the external brightness information. A brightness changer(230) changes brightness of the 3D image by considering the external brightness information.
