A disk brake for a vehicle is provided to maintain a gap between a pad and a disc because a ball bearing is supported by a spring. A disk brake for a vehicle comprises a disc(12) which rotate with a wheel, a pad(14) which faces to the disc, a ball bearing(13) that is supported by a spring(17) between the pad and the disc and permitted to slide, a piston(18) which compresses the pad in the disc and generates the braking power, and a caliper(16) in which a cylinder(15) reciprocating the piston is placed.
