A liver-cleaning drink and a preparation method thereof are provided to induce bile and to discharge waste products from a human body, thereby promoting metabolism, lowering cholesterol numerical value and improving fatty liver. A liver-cleaning drink comprises 2-3wt% of Rubi Fructus extract, 3-4wt% of pomegranate fruit extract, 14-18wt% of isomalto-oligosaccharides, 3-4wt% of magnesium sulfate, 0.5-2wt% of vitamin C, 0.3-1wt% of citric acid, 0.1-0.2wt% of Schizandra fruit extract, 0.1-0.2wt% of Opuntia ficus extract, 0.1-0.2wt% of jujube extract and 67-77wt% of purified water. A patient drinks the liver-cleaning drink on the day of cleaning the patient's liver. The patient drinks the liver-cleaning drink again two hours after the first drinking and drinks a bottle of olive oil two hours after the second drinking.
