PAPER COATING LATEX USING NON-IONIC POLYMERIZABLE SURFACTANT

Styrene butadiene-based latex for paper coating is provided to ensure excellent stability and printability by comprising a nonionic polymerizable emulsifier and to produce coating paper with excellent printability. Styrene butadiene-based latex for paper coating is formed by emulsion polymerization of a monomer mixture including butadiene and styrene-based monomer. The emulsifier of latex is polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl prophenyl ethoxylate of 0.01~15 weight% based on the total weight of the monomer mixture. The latex prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture including 1,3- butadiene 5~55 weight%, styrene 40~94 weight%, ethylenic unsaturated acid monomer 1~15 weight%, vinyl cyanide monomer 0~10 weight%, other copolymerizable vinyl monomer 0~30 weight% and molecular weight controller 0.1~10 weight% based on the total weight of the monomer mixture.
