An ultrasound synthetic aperture beamformer and ultrasound image apparatus using the same are provided to display a clean ultrasonic image in real time by using SAFT(Synthetic Aperture Focusing Technique). A synthetic aperture beamformer(1) has N channels and M synthetic transmit apertures. The synthetic aperture beamformer comprises the beamformer with n single-channels. The single channel beamformer outputs M data. A channel selection switch unit(100), a plurality of interpolators(110), a plurality of memories(120), a plurality of time delay calculators(130), a plurality of demultiplexers(140), and plurality of apodization calculators(150).
