<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has an illumination unit (3) including a longitudinal emission body (4) emitting UV ray. A positioning and supporting cross-member (5) placed along an axis of a conduit (2) includes polymer set rings (7, 8) fixed to two ends of the body, respectively. The illumination unit has polymer support collars (12, 13) placed in contact with one of the rings. Power supply units (16) of the body are housed in a portion of an inner cavity of a guide (9). A traction system (6) connected to the illumination unit displaces the illumination unit along a portion of the conduit. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for treating interior of a conduit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for treating interior of a conduit i.e. drinking water conduit, to disinfect and/or sterilize the interior of the conduit. Can also be used for treating domestic duct and tube of any shapes. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The device is easily transportable and adaptable to different diameters of the conduits.
