<p>An electric operator control unit for a vehicle having a shaft for receiving an emergency key is described, the emergency key being arranged in the shaft so as to be capable of moving between a storage position and a position of use. A locking mechanism is provided for locking the emergency key and the movable battery compartment lid. The battery compartment lid itself or a locking element which is mechanically connected thereto is provided as a locking mechanism, and the battery compartment lid can be moved into a position which makes it possible to lock the emergency key in the position of use and/or storage position. The movement of the battery compartment lid is used to move the battery compartment lid or a locking element which is configured thereon between the locked position and the unlocked position.</p> |
