The system has a digital corrector for compensating resistance of a physiological solution. Basement membranous voltage is controlled for measuring basic potential difference (vb), short-circuit current (Isc) and transepithelial conductance of epithelium. The short-circuit current is determined, when a potential difference at terminals of calomel electrodes of a permeation chamber is null.
