<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified IT (Information Technology) asset location update system that enables administrators to confirm/update/approve updates on IT asset information about IT equipment by remote control. <P>SOLUTION: The simplified IT asset location update system comprises the IT equipment that sends IT asset information, an IT asset information management server with an IT asset management database for receiving the IT asset information, and a plurality of mobile terminals that send/receive mail messages. The IT asset information management server has the IT asset information management database for storing the IT asset information about the IT equipment, and when the IT asset information is sent from the IT equipment, sends update request and update confirmation mail messages to the mobile terminal of the administrator of the IT equipment, and stores the IT asset information in the IT asset information management database in response to a no text mail from the mobile terminal of the administrator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
