<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus securing a heat radiation section in the apparatus while suppressing enlargement of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: a photoreceptor drum 4a on which a toner image is held, a conveying path R1 for conveying paper from storage trays 5a and 5b to the downstream side in a conveying direction, a secondary transfer belt 4d for transferring the toner image held on the photoreceptor drum 4a to the paper, a fixing device 4e fixing the toner image transferred by the secondary transfer belt 4d to the paper, and a discharge port 1a for discharging the paper with the toner image fixed thereto by the fixing device 4e out of the apparatus. The conveying path R1 is disposed so that the secondary transfer position by the secondary transfer belt 4d is located between the fixing position by the fixing device 4 and the discharge port 1a in a section including entire length of the conveying path R1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
