<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket gate which prevents deterioration in the throughput of a user passing through a ticket gate and which collects a contactless communication medium. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic ticket gate 1 determines whether or not a ticket 15 whose ticket information has been read is expired or not. When determined that the ticket 15 is expired, the automatic ticket gate 1 requests the user to insert the ticket 15 into a slot 21. When the ticket 15 is not inserted into the slot 21 and the user reaches a collection determination position, the automatic ticket gate 1 closes a door 10a of the ticket gate to prevent the user from passing therethrough and then requests the user to insert the ticket 15 into a slot 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
