<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound diagnostic device having transducers facing each other. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasound diagnostic device includes a pair of transducers 10, 20 which are opposite to each other and transmit/receive ultrasound signals. Each of the transducers 10, 20 is equipped with a number of conversion elements 11, 21 for converting a transmission signal to an ultrasound signal to transmit it to an object body along a transmission scan line, and for converting an ultrasound signal received from the object body to a reception signal. The object body is fixed between the two transducers 10, 20 facing each other.
