PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimal control as an on-vehicle equipment according to the distance between an equipment body and a display provided with an operation part. SOLUTION: A navigation device 1 is equipped with a device body 10 having a first Bluetooth device 31, and a display operation panel 11 detachably provided to the device body 10 and equipped with a second Bluetooth device for performing wireless communication with the first Bluetooth device 31. The navigation device 1 detects whether or not the display operation panel 11 is mounted on the device body 10, and when the display operation panel 11 is not mounted on the device main body 10, transmits a command for increasing transmission power for wireless communication than the transmission power when the display operation panel 11 is mounted on the device body 10 from either one of the device body 10 and the display operation panel 11 to the other of the two by wireless communication.
