PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor which has high mobility and a large current on/off ratio and is excellent in storage stability. SOLUTION: In the organic transistor having an organic semiconductor layer, the organic semiconductor layer contains at least one of compound represented by general formula (1). In the formula (1), X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>10</SB>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a straight chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, and a ring A is a substituted or unsubstituted benzene ring, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthalene ring, a substituted or a unsubstituted thiophene ring, or a substituted or a unsubstituted benzo[b]thiophene ring.
